I can't wait until I can get number two from the library. The more I listened the more pulled in to the story I got.
I have to admit I only checked out the audio version from the library becasue Joe Manganiello was reading it. " I liked this book a lot more than I thought I was going to. I'm saddened to know there's only one book left in this series, but I'm excited to read it. " Good read! Intriguing characters and even better, there are lots of intriguing dynamics between said characters. " I enjoyed this tale of dragons, magic and a young man struggling to prove himself after the death of his father so he may claim his family lands and return the land to prosperity. The narrator is american, which is sometimes a PITA for us Brits, but was very listenable. Though I remembered the rough plot, it was really good to listen to this series. " It's been a good decade since I first read this series, DH wanted some fantasy audio books with a male protagonist, I already have an audible account so used credits to buy Dragon Bones and Dragon Blood. I am very impressed with the world that was created even though the names are a bitch to pronounce. Ward is such a good man and a character you cheer on. Its been a while since I've read a book through a male point of view which was a nice change. " There are some slow spots, especially in the beginning but push through and you won't be disappointed. I find it one of those stories that support your believe in good character and struggling to keep up the fight for good. I love the story line and the characters. I've read the books and also own the audiobooks and I have easily listened to the stories at least 10 times. " Dragon Bones and Dragon Blood are two of my all time favorite fantasy books. And the political situation is complicated enough that I have no idea how it's going to resolve. " I was intrigued by the idea of someone who feigned being a fool, for years, to survive, and then has to change his image.
